New Book about the Global Assembly Line

Dear friends,

I'm trying to get the word out on my new book. I could use your help. It's called MOLLIE'S JOB: A Story of Life and Work on the Global Assembly Line.

It's being published by Scribner on May 5. It's about the flesh-and-blood consequences of globalization, as seen through the eyes of three women who worked for the same corporation. The company, Universal Mfg., was founded in urban Paterson, NJ in 1947. It later moved to rural Miss., and then to Matamoros, Mex. The book tracks the company through the lives of women in each of the three regions. Scribner has a link to it on its web site:

Any assistance in spreading the word about the book would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,

William M. Adler
