Mobilization for Overnite Transportation Strike

Union Pacific, Overnite Transportation’s parent company, is holding its
Annual Shareholders Meeting on April 21, 2000, in Salt Lake City. 

The Teamsters are collecting proxy ballots so that we can send a delegation
of Overnite workers and Teamster to Overnite/UP’s shareholders meeting.

Proxy materials will be arriving in the mail to all Union Pacific
shareholders very soon.  Many Overnite workers are Union Pacific
shareholders. 

Any one who owns Union Pacific shares and wishes to sign over their proxies
should:

Complete the form letter below:

a.  LEAVE THE SPACE FOR THE DESIGNEE’ÄôS NAME BLANK
b.  Fill in address information
c.      Sign the letter
d.  Mail your proxy ballots and form letter to:

Please collect your Overnite Teamster members’Äô ballots and proxy form letters
and mail them to the IBT, as soon as possible.
